AGENT.m6 program may work online through the INTERNET. The users of NET version of AGENT.m6 have two options of working online:
1. Without using of iAGENT.m6 - connection between AGENT.m6 and AGENT.m6 gives full range of options available in the program but as a result of huge amount of data that needs to be transferred the connection may be very slowly.
2. With using of iAGENT.m6 - connection between AGENT.m6 and iAGENT.m6gives possibility of using only basic functions of the program, less data needs to be transferred so the connection is much faster.
In both cases first thing to do is installation of Hamachi program. Hamachi provides a fixed IP address and possibility to work behind NAT as well as secure, encoded and protected by passwords data transmission through VPN (Virtual Private Network).
Go to www.hamachi.cc site and install the latest version of Hamachi program on the same computer as your AGENT.m6 server program. When Hamachi is installed an icon 
will show up in TRAY (small icons right next to an hour displayed in right bottom corner of your screen). Open Hamachi (pic. 1) and click on the icon showed in the red square on the picture below, then select "create a new network". In opened window enter any name for the network you are creating and a password.

1. Connection without iAGENT.m6
Install setup_srv.exe program on the computer which will be used as the server. On the same computer install Hamachi program and configure it accordingly to the description above. On all other computers install Hamachi program but login as a different user and instead of creating a new network "login to existing network" (pic. 1) in opened window enter the name and password you used to create the network on the main computer. On every computer install setup.exe file from AGENT.m6 installation CD. When you start AGENT.m6 program for the first time (concerns all AGENT.m6 programs on all computers) in the login window click on Changes button then on Database configuration button. In opened window (pic. 2) select database location - Database Server, in IP field enter IP number which is displayed in the top part of Hamachi program window installed on your main (server) computer. Other settings: Port 12005, connection type LAN.

For security reasons it is strongly recommended to provide passwords for all AGENT.m6 program users. Because of large amounts of data working with the use of Internet connection may be much slower than in local network and depends on your Internet connection transfer capacity.
2. Connection with iAGENT.m6
Install setup_srv.exe program on the computer which will be used as the server. On the same computer install Hamachi program and configure it accordingly to the description above. On all other computers install Hamachi program but login as a different user and instead of creating a new network "login to existing network" (pic. 1) in opened window enter the name and password you used to create the network on the main computer. On all other than server computers install iAGENT.m6 program and open it. In LOGIN window click the button Changes then Database configuration. In opened window (pic. 3) choose database location: Database Server. In IP field enter IP number displayed in top part of Hamachi (pic.1) installed on the main computer with the database. Other settings: port - 12005, Connection type - LAN.
